HONEY LEMONADE
When life gives you lemons, try my honey lemonade recipe and CHILLAX!
It's harmattan /dry season in Nigerian while the westerners prep for winter. Your throat and nose might get a little dry and your body too tired to lift itself. Crankiness becomes your companion and you just feel just like snapping at someone.
Don't worry, its time to energise yourself with a glass of chilled honey lemonade.
Ingredients
* 3 yellow juicy lemons
* 1 cute ginger root
* 3-4 tablespoon of honey
Recipe
-Wash your lemons and roll them hard on your kitchen table to get the juice out.
- Extract the lemon juice (you can check out how to extract lemon juice faster on my blog page).
- Wash the ginger root and blend into a puree.
- Add some warm water to the blended ginger and squeeze out the juice using a mesh sieve.
- Add the ginger extract to the lemon juice.
- Add honey for taste.
- Mix very well and add a some ice cubes
- Thank me later for calming your nerves. Lol.
Fact: Honey lemonade is a quick relief for sore throats, running and cold aside being an energise and immune booster.
