Give heed to our words
O little child in the variable world
We the seven sages specifically
Have this to say to you
Child, the darkness of today's night
Must give way to tomorrow's rising Sun
Child, your Castle built in the air
Must be brought down to the earth
Child, never rush to lick that soup
Which you know is all yours to consume
Child, if ever in error you fall
Remember you must rise to correct
Child, how long you have lived
Is measured by the lives you have touched Child, never forget your creator
For you move in a circle without him
Child, the most important of all
Is to remember the sayings of the seven sages
